7-10-2014 Staff Duty

So I haven't blogged in quite some time now :( I want to be a better blogger, it's just time consuming. I want to be a lot of things as well. Tonight however I have been assigned staff duty. It is a 12 hour shift where I sit at a desk and take phone calls, clean the office space and sign soldiers in and out for leave and pass. 12 HOURS!!! That's enough time to pin cool stuff on my Pinterest boards, convert some movies to watch on the Ipad, catch up on Netflix TV and movies, and of course work on my blog! I guess this is a good thing in disguise, no distractions. Nonetheless I cant wait until I receive information about the dates for my next course!

Melanie is a great Army wife!!! She took video footage of the 2011 Veteran's Day Parade that happens every year on Virginia Street in downtown Reno.
